1. Introduction
Welcome to SettlementsAI.com (the "Site"), operated by SettlementsAI ("SettlementsAI," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our Site, services, or any content we make available (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use our Site or Services.

SettlementsAI is an attorney data transparency platform designed to publish and display attorney-certified professional information and case results by area of expertise and location.
The Site allows:
- Attorneys to submit and publish profiles, including professional information, credentials, and attested Case Results.
- Visitors to view and filter attorney data, track records, and related informational content.
- SettlementsAI to organize and display this self-reported data.
SettlementsAI is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice or legal representation. Any attorney-client relationship formed through contact between users and attorneys is independent of SettlementsAI.
3. Eligibility
By using the Site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding agreement. Attorneys featured on SettlementsAI must be licensed and in good standing in their respective jurisdictions.
4. User Accounts (For Attorneys)
Attorneys may create or request a profile to be featured on the Site. By submitting information to SettlementsAI, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date professional data.
- Maintain your account credentials securely.
- Be responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
- Acknowledge and be bound by the Attorney Data Warranties and Indemnification set forth in Section 12.
SettlementsAI reserves the right to approve, deny, suspend, or remove any attorney listing at our sole discretion, particularly for misleading, unethical, or unverified content.
5. Attorney Listings and Data Display
SettlementsAI may offer data listings for limited practice areas and geographic regions. Placements may be limited by city and practice type (e.g., Personal Injury, Criminal Defense, Employment Law, Lemon Law). Placements / Listings are subject to active subscription and compliance with SettlementsAI' policies. Cancellation or lapse of membership may result in the loss of listing and placement by another attorney from a waiting list. SettlementsAI makes no guarantee of leads, case volume, or client conversions.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All materials on the Site—including data organization, graphics, text, logos, and design—are owned by or licensed to SettlementsAI and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or publicly display any content from the Site without our express written permission. Attorneys who submit data, images, or text grant SettlementsAI a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display such materials for informational and promotional purposes across digital platforms.
7. Copyright and Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)
- DMCA Policy Incorporation: SettlementsAI respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all users and participating attorneys to do the same. Our procedures for submitting and responding to claims of copyright infringement are governed by the SettlementsAI DMCA Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by this reference.
- Infringement Reporting If you believe that any content on the Site—including attorney-submitted videos or bios—infringes upon your copyright, you must submit a written DMCA Takedown Notice to our Designated Copyright Agent at [email protected] following the specific requirements outlined in our DMCA Policy.
- Removal and Counter-Notice Upon receipt of a valid notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material. If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification as detailed in the DMCA Policy.
- Repeat Infringer Policy: In accordance with the DMCA and other applicable laws, SettlementsAI will terminate, in appropriate circumstances and at our sole discretion, the accounts or listings of users who are determined to be repeat infringers.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Misrepresent your identity, qualifications, or affiliation.
- Post or transmit unlawful, defamatory, or misleading content.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or data.
- Use the Site for spam, solicitation, or commercial purposes not authorized by SettlementsAI. Violation of these rules may result in immediate termination of your account or listing.
- Use any robot, spider, scraper, AI agent, or other automated means to access the Site for any purpose, including extracting settlement data, attorney profiles, or pricing information, without our express written permission.
9. Fees and Payments
Certain features of the Site may require payment of fees or subscriptions. All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. Subscription plans may renew automatically unless cancelled 30 days before the renewal date. Prices may change with 30 days notice. SettlementsAI uses secure third-party payment processors. We do not store full credit card information.

- No Legal Advice: SettlementsAI does not provide legal advice. Information on the Site is for informational and marketing purposes only.
- No Attorney-Client Relationship: Viewing attorney content or contacting attorneys via the Site does not create an attorney-client relationship with SettlementsAI.
- No Guarantee of Results: SettlementsAI makes no representations regarding the outcome of any legal matter or the quality of legal services provided by featured attorneys.
- Brand Disclaimer: The brand name "SettlementsAI" is a marketing trade name and does not imply that listed attorneys are objectively superior, ranked by SettlementsAI, or guaranteed to achieve particular results. Listing is based solely on the attorney's adherence to the platform's terms for transparent, self-reported data.
- Visitor and General Data Disclaimer: The content on this Site, including settlement amounts, is provided for informational purposes only. While we verify data to the best of our ability, SettlementsAI is a data aggregator and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of data submitted by third-party attorneys. You should not rely on any content here as a substitute for professional legal advice.
- "AI" Branding and Predictive Disclaimer: "The term 'SettlementsAI' refers to our proprietary data verification and organization processes. The Site functions as a historical database of case results and does not function as a predictive calculator or settlement estimator. The presentation of specific settlement amounts, severity levels, or case types is for comparison purposes only and does not constitute an assessment of the value of your specific legal claim. You understand that past results found on this Site do not guarantee a similar outcome for your matter."
- SettlementsAI is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a lawyer referral service as defined under applicable state or bar association rules.
- SettlementsAI does not:
- Provide or participate in the formation of attorney-client relationships.
- Recommend or endorse any specific attorney, law firm, or legal service.
- Guarantee or warrant the quality, expertise, or outcomes of any legal matter.
- The attorneys featured on SettlementsAI.com are independent professionals who have paid to be listed or are included as part of promotional participation.
- Any communication between you and an attorney featured on this Site is solely between you and that attorney.
- Your use of this Site does not create an attorney-client relationship with SettlementsAI or any featured attorney.
- You should not rely on any content or data on this Site as a substitute for professional legal advice.
- All information is provided "as is" and "as available," without any warranty of any kind, express or implied.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SettlementsAI, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:
- Use of or inability to use the Site;
- Reliance on information provided on the Site;
- Actions or conduct of attorneys or users. In no event shall SettlementsAI' total liability exceed the amount paid (if any) by you to SettlementsAI in the past 12 months.
12. Attorney Data Warranties and Indemnification
12.1. Warranties Regarding Submitted Case Results and Data
By submitting any Case Results, settlement amounts, verdicts, attorney bios, or any related professional data (collectively, "Submitted Data") to SettlementsAI, the Attorney and/or Law Firm (the "Submitting Party") hereby represents and warrants that:
- Public Disclosure & Client Consent: The Submitting Party has obtained all necessary client informed consent required by their professional rules of conduct for the publication of the Submitted Data. The Submitted Data is either publicly available or the client has explicitly waived all rights to confidentiality, privilege, and privacy regarding the published information.
- No Violation of Privilege or Contract: The Submitted Data does not violate any court order, sealing order, protective order, attorney-client privilege, work-product doctrine, or any confidentiality provision within a settlement agreement, non-disclosure agreement (NDA), or other contract.
- Truthfulness and Compliance: The Submitted Data is true and accurate [Matches Requirement 1]. The Submitting Party further warrants they have complied with all applicable Rules of Professional Conduct regarding the advertising of past results in all jurisdictions where they practice or are licensed.
12.2. General Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SettlementsAI and its affiliates from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any rights of another party.
12.3. Indemnification for Submitted Data and Breach of Warranties
The Submitting Party agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless SettlementsAI, its officers, directors, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, costs, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to the Submitted Data provided by the Attorney or any breach of the warranties in Section 12.1, including, but not limited to, any claim alleging:
- Violation of client confidentiality or attorney-client privilege;
- Breach of a settlement agreement's confidentiality clause; or
- Misleading advertising or misrepresentation in violation of any state bar rule.
12.4. Data Dispute and Verification Process
SettlementsAI reserves the right to remove or temporarily suspend the display of any Submitted Data at any time, with or without notice, if we receive a verified third-party claim, court order, or formal dispute challenging its accuracy, compliance, or validity.
- Dispute Submission: All disputes regarding the accuracy of an attorney’s professional data must be submitted in writing to SettlementsAI at [email protected] and must include supporting evidence, documentation, or court records.
- Attorney Response: The submitting Attorney will be notified of the dispute and given a reasonable period (e.g., 10 business days) to provide verifiable documentation confirming the accuracy and compliance of the challenged data.
- Data Removal: If the Attorney fails to provide sufficient verification within the allotted time, or if SettlementsAI determines, in its sole discretion, that the data violates Section 12.1 (Warranties), the data will be permanently removed from the Site. The attorney will not be entitled to any refund for data removal due to a verified breach of warranty.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice. Upon termination, all licenses and rights granted to you under these Terms shall cease immediately.
14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
15. Changes to These Terms
SettlementsAI may update these Terms at any time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Site after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Communications Consent (Email and SMS)
16.1. Consent to Electronic Communications:
By using the Site or Services, creating an account, or submitting your contact information to SettlementsAI, you expressly consent to receive electronic communications from us. These communications may include:
- Transactional Updates: Notices regarding your account, subscription status, billing, and security alerts.
- Newsletters and Content: Periodic newsletters, legal industry updates, and information regarding new features or attorneys on the platform.
- Marketing and Offers: Promotional emails, exclusive offers, and announcements related to SettlementsAI or participating attorneys.
16.2. SMS/Text Messaging:
By providing your mobile phone number, you agree to receive automated text messages (SMS) from SettlementsAI for the purposes mentioned above.
- Rates: Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier plan.
- Frequency: Message frequency will vary based on your interaction with the Services.
16.3. Opt-Out and Revocation:
You may opt out of marketing-related communications at any time:
- Email: Click the "Unsubscribe" link found in the footer of any SettlementsAI marketing email.
- SMS: Reply STOP to any text message received from us.
- Transactional Messages: Please note that opting out of marketing messages will not stop "transactional" communications (e.g., billing receipts or legal updates to these Terms) that are necessary for the continued use of your account.
16.4. Privacy and Compliance:
All communications are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws, including the CAN-SPAM Act, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA).
